Senegal
Senegal is located in Western Africa, bordering the North Atlantic Ocean, between Guinea-Bissau and Mauritania; see map. Population is about 13 million with most of that percentage of people Muslim. Senegal was mostly hot and humid but it does have a rainy season and strong winds that can cause sand storms at times, also it has a very dry season. The name Senegal comes possibly from “Sunu gaal”, which means “our fishing boat," which in tern shows that it has a rather large fishing industry.
